[BUG THREAD][3.71 M33] Report for errors and bugs in M33 firmware

It seems that "skip Sony logo" in RM dosn't work at all. I tried formating flash1, but it not helped.

I'm running PSP-1000, JAP, TA-079.

Also not a big deal. When You change your kernel to 3.71 it says ,"CHANGING KERNEL TO 3.52" Also May i request that the button for VSH MENU be changed? when XMB and typing in the virtual keyboard you press select to change what keyboard you are using and it just brings up the VSH Menu. Also thanks for releasing it!

i have a problem with my wireless .. when i try to scan for a wireless network it stop with the following error code: "An internal error has occured (00000001)." (fat psp)

try it again. i'm not getting anything like that.

or maybe its the access point that has the problem.

It seems in 3.71, Popsloader won't let me choose which version to use, anymore. It's running my games fine, but yeah, no way to choose. Holding R does nothing and even if I delete the config file, the menu doesn't show up.

(Also, thanks so much, DaX. I wish more people would actually appreciate your work)

@jackol i've tried i've shut down the psp turned on again and the same ...
formatted the flash1 .. same error

when i press scan option the wlan led stay lighted for 1-2 second and aftr that it lights off and i receive that errror

Also, if you apply a Sony skin, the LocationFree Player icon is not skinned. Not sure if that works or not in the real firmware but it doesn't seem right. Thanks!

The problem I have is I formatted Flash1 using the Recovery menu option and now I have a brick. No recovery, nothing. The MS light doesnt even flash.
I have to say to me this is the most unstable CFW made. Sorry DA/M33 but it is.
I will go back to 3.52M33v4 till a patch comes out to make it more stable. 3.71M33v2?
Maybe the 1.50 patch will fix problems with it?

I also have problems with a few games turning off instead of returning to the XMB.

Yea, I also had the $ony logo not disabling and the kernal saying 3.52. Why is 1.50 still there if it's not?Guess its there as it will be added soon.

I think one reason for all these problems was the leak of the source and $ony have made changes so it's harder for CFW to work properly.... maybe?

first i want to make it clear that i'm not complaining about 3.71 M33. as far as i'm concerned D_Ax is a genius and fooled us all but made some great CFWs.

however, the only thing with 3.71 M33 that bothers me is the plugins issue. D_Ax, if you're reading this, do you think there's any way plugins can be updated to work?

i mean, yeah, i can use the "cookies" theme but sony themes suck compared to those made by the scene. i'd also love to use opening_plugin and gameboots from my own collection.

oh well, for now at least my psp is still working.

The plugins might work when the 1.50 kernal patch is released???

Another problem I found is I cannot access Flash 0 from anywhere. I can access MS and Flash 1 but when I choose Flash 0 it just shows the MS.

I finally accessed it via a modded Pandora. The Reboot.prx doesnt work anymore.

Looks like we have to wait for a lot of new plugins/mods.

Probably I only one had problems with installation of 371m33.

At start of official updating(371.pbp) trow the error
"The system conf. of this PSP system does not appear to be correct the update cannot be completed. DRNFFFFFFB0."
and then back in xmb

Some of you guys are not happy with this firmware sois it possible to go bck to 1.50 on a ta-82 mobo using recovery boot coz ta-82+ need to be patched to allow the 1.50 kernal right?

@samad786: Yes you can, install the Extended Pandora Menu 0.84 and then you have the option to install directly CFW´s, this install the Custom IPL,with the Custom IPL you don´t need to patch anything in the idstorage to run CFW´s or 1.50

i installed 3.71 m33 - and all was normal....but when i've started bookr....my psp turn off....and when i turn it on....screen liths up black color....and then off... recovery menu is working....how can i back to the 3.52 m33-4? Thanx

Edit my first reply, upon a hard reset my psp skips the sony logo screen, I have tried scanning a new network under network connections and all is fine, working here!
