3.52 M33-4

how do i install this new m33-4? i currently have 3.03 OE-C version and want to upgrade to 3.52 M33-4.

+++is it ok to upgrade my current version to 3.52 M33-4 without 3.52 M33 1,2 and 3?
+++im confused coz i have both in my memorycard folders /GAME150 and /GAME303. i dont know where or what folder i should choose. hope that MODS here might help me...

You can use the M33 creator and then upgrade with just M33-4. The M33 creator goes into /PSP/GAME150. In the M33 creator folder goes also the firmware 1.50 as 150.PBP and the firmware 3.52 as 352.PBP. Afterwards yo have to rename the GAME303 folder to GAME352.

The update M33-4 is a cumulative update. It has also the updates from M33-1, M33-2 and M33-3.

Jachra: thanks for the help.... ive upgraded my FW to M33-4 this saturday afternoon. this is quit cool and i need a user manual for this. i dont want to change any of the settings without knowlEDGE these functions. i only use the no UMD feature and activate my FLASHPLAYER and WMA.

TO THE MODS OR M33 OUT THERE, PLEASE MAKE A USER MANUAL FOR THIS.

I just installed v3.52 m33 and now want to install the m33 update #4. Please let me know how do i install an update in the first place. what to put in which directory?

Can i directly go to update #4 or do I start with 1 through 3 and then 4?

The update M33-4 is a cumulative update. It has also the updates from M33-1, M33-2 and M33-3. You should place the update in /PSP/GAME150/.

i'm a novice so please bear with me. after I unzipped the update #4 file, it shows two folders (along with other readme files). one folder says PSP and the other says some plugins. Do I put Eboot.pbp in the X:/PSP/GAME150 folder and then execute?

What do i do with the plugin folder?

Your questions:

Answer:

Copy both folders to the root of your memstick. The update will be copied to right place on the memstick. The update will the appear in your XMB unde Game/memstick. You can execute it from there.

The seplugins-folder contains updates for the PS1 emulator (aka Popsloader). With this update you can select other emulators from different firmwares. Some PS1 games work better under an older version of the emulator.

azharnasir: yes you can manually copy/paste it to psp/game150/eboot.pbp(UPDATE.PBP)
then if u dont have seplugins folder u can paste directly the seplugins automatically. close usb mode then go to game under memorystick find m33 update,click it. reboot ur psp hold R trigger for recovry menu.

In the Recovery menu you can change the behavior of your psp. be sure you know these functions as there is no user manual yet ive seen. i only use the no UMD game, clock speed to 333(runs bit faster), unlock both WMA and FLASHPLAYER, if you want to play PS1 games unlock popsloader.

I'm trying to install M33 Update#4 (download from this site, and run from PSP\GAME150\M33Update4) on M33 3.52 and keep getting the recovery
warning("ms0:/PSP/GAME/PS3NEWS_ARE_STEALERS_I_AM_NOT_GONNA_VISIT_THEM/EBOOT.PBP")
- what am I doing wrong?

Fixed problem - I had edited the PBP with "PSP Content Manager" to change the title and remove the background (just wanted to make my Pandora/Utility memory stick easier to read!!). Don't mess with the media is the lesson learnt!

No, that firmware must be installed from Sony firmware 1.50 or any other custom firmware. You must downgrade your PSP with the Pandora battery. You can not make one, because that requires a PSP with Sony firmware 1.50 or a custum firmware.

You need to find someone who has an older firmware 3.50 (or lower) or a custom firmware installed. The other one with a Sony firmware 3.50 (or lower) can be downgrade to Sony firmware 1.50. If the other one has an custom firmware the you can directly create a Pandora battery. You can use this guide to create an Pandora battery. The guide is made by FreePlay.

Maybe you can find someone who already has an Pandora battery. This link might help.

Or any other homebrew or umd r***ers? Yes and no need for an reader. On the xmb press the home-button. You will figure out the rest.

Create a directory named ISO in the root of your Memstick. Put your umd game backups in there. Create an directory named VIDEO in the folder ISO. Your umd video backups go in there.

is there any place to post suggestions for the next firmware for the noraml psp?becuse i have two here tghey are.
first
fix the hid cropted files thing
and secend thing
add a search into music player.
becuse some peaple like me and other peaple have like 700 songas and it takes so long if u are looking for one song/or add in a console that u can type in the number like 462. or sumthing
