[26.02.2011] 3DS поступила в продажу(на территории Японии). И ввиду обратной совместимости сразу появились "взломы", запускающие бэкапы DS-игр на 3DS (3DS-игры пока так запустить невозможно)

В данный момент на 3DS можно запускать бэкапы игр от DS. Похоже, DS-mode уже "взломан". Примерно так же было и с DS в своё время, через GBA-порт. А вот взлом 3ds-режима может затянуться.
Список подходящих адаптеров
Практически все DSi - карты работают на 3ds, только с новой прошивкой. Это обусловлено, очевидно, наследной архитектурой. Так что, если вы не нашли свою карточку в списке-никто не мешает опробовать самому

2) R4iDSN / R4i Gold
3) Acekard 2i(кроме самых старых моделей , с HWID = 44).

5) M3i Zero (! давно не обновлялось, возможно - проект заброшен)

как заставить DSi-адаптер корректно работать с 3DS?
Необходим совместимый с 3ds адаптер (список приведен выше, впрочем - он может быть неполным). Почти все работающие с DSi адаптеры работают и с 3DS. Но:
Для запуска DS игр на 3DS (в смысле, для запусков образов игр, ага) нужно прошить бутлоадер адаптера.
Т.е. не просто "залить" на флэшку GUI для запуска игр, а залить специальный .NDS - файлик, который получится запуcтить(на данный момент) только на nintendoDS (не на 3ds!), и прошить им загрузочную область адаптера (не флешки!). После этого - можно вставлять в 3ds, и он там заработает.
Вполне возможно, что самые новые партии адаптеров будут уже прошиты последней версией прошивки, но - имейте на примете друга с nintendoDS для данной операции. Так, на всякий случай.
Из картриджей можно посоветовать Acekard2i(по сравнению с DSTwo, из-за наличия у последнего собственного ЦП, "жрет" меньше энегии).
Но есть еще одно но: говорят, что не все модели Acekard2i работают с 3ds . Точнее, так - не работает самая старая ыерсия данного адаптера

because you can use the Gateway installer.nds to install the MSET Exploit and then load your new patched Launcher.dat
1. Download file
2. Copy GW's launcher.dat into the same folder as the *.exe
3. Start the *.exe. It should show "file patched successfully"
4. Copy the Launcher.dat into the Root of your microSD card
5. Install the Exploit (with the GW_INSTALLER.NDS)
6. Now you can go to Settings -> General Settings -> User settings -> DS profile
7. Your 3DS is region free
вопрос глупый но всеже ктонить пробывал брать эксплоит и лаунчер от клонов гейтвея и запускать на гейтвее? наример от МТ или от нового ЕВО 3дс - просто у них уже мультиром есть а гейтвей все сопли тянет

Скорее всего это недоработанный эксплоит, который разработчики Гейтвей
высылали тестерам для проверки работоспособности. Скорее всего он ставится,
однако я бы не рекомендовал его использовать, скорее всего разрабы его допилят немного
напильником и потом выпустят. Разработчики себя дураками ещё не выставляли,
поэтому я думаю не зря они резину тянут)
Уже вопрос снят - в сеть у текла бета омега 2.0 - отлично работает мультиром и все игры, доволен как слон. На днях еще регион фри проверю и возможность поиграть в донлоад плай с другим регионом приставок.

So, today I decided to do another leak. I actually did my own tools for this, but apparently peoples still prefer semi privately leaked work, always better than the work of a stealer and liar right?
For all drama explainations, about who are really some guys you can find this here
So there you go, enjoy a 3DS CFW
Tutorial:
1) Backup your own 4.5 NAND(not 6.x, 7.x or anything, 4.5)
2) Replace your emuNAND or anything at the sector one of your SD card by your NAND(/!\ It needs to not be into the FAT32 partition of the SD card/!\)
3) Launch the CFW by the normal way(by putting the whole folder 3DS_STUFF on your SD card), and keep L pressed. It willn't boot everytime so you'll surely have to retry several time! (The ROP tool installed must be the Launcher homebrew 4.x one!)
4) You should've rebooted into the home menu. If you didn't, then go back to step 3.
5) Get the IP Adress of your 3ds(or set it in the settings), replace it by the one to replace in the file run.bat(use notepad for this) and execute run.bat
6) If the message "failed to connect" appear, retry. If it still not work after several times, then you should think about relaunching the CFW when pressing L.
7) If a list of messages like "Sending CIA Install command..." appear, then wait for them to stop and go to step 8.
8) Turn off your 3ds, then turn it on. Go launch the CFW, but this time, no need to press L button.
9) Once you're back on the home menu, the CIA you wished to install should appear as a gift! If it don't, then retry several times to launch the CFW and launch the run.bat command.
If after several times it still didn't worked, you should consider to install some apps on your sd then reinstall the 4.5 NAND.
Quick overview:
This is a 3ds CFW. It will patch the signature checks, and some other parts of the firmware. It have the ability to run a CIA server and to use it for install the CIA wanted.
This CFW works only on 4.5 because, firstly, the keyX isn't implemented, the mem allocations of the Home Menu, for exemple, changed between firmwares, etc...
This CFW is launching something that can be compared to Gateway's emuNAND system(I'll call it redNAND from now), then patching parts of the firmware for let it launch unsigned code.
This allows a lot of things, such as piracy(you can convert CCI(3ds roms) to CIA(Home menu apps)using 3dsguy's makerom software.) and home menu homebrews. Tho this would need mods in the CFW for allows so.

A: No, yellows8 and derrek made it
Q: Will this help me in anyways?
A: Only if you're in a firmware under 4.5 and that you want to install freely CIAs on your 3ds.

A: This soft is a mod of an open source tool available here. If you still don't trust me run IDA Pro on it.

A: Several reasons + some peoples think it is better to release an half finished work like this than your own in which you spended time.

A: Yes I did, I have my own CFW and CIA Installer. I may release my CFW one day, it'll depends.
Q: This exploit is not working and I want to optimize it! Can I have his source?
A: Again, this CFW was made by yellows8. If you want the source, I'm afraid you'll have to reverse it. Also you should consider about reversing arm9 and boot.bin parts first if you do.
Q: Why did you included the devMenu in this package? It's illegal you know?
A: Because it was into the original one. You can use it as an exemple one.
Other infos:
The format of the run.bat file is: IP Adress of the 3ds, followed by the mediatype of the CIA you want to install(0 to NAND, 1 to SD, 2 to gamecard) and his name.
This CFW is redirecting all NAND functions to sector 1 of your SD. Your NAND need to be written to the sector one of your SD card or it will NOT WORK.
This CFW is pretty unstable and booting only rarely because of multithread and ARM11 injection bullshits if I'm not wrong.
This CFW is patching basic signature checks, redirecting NAND, and injecting an am:net server code if L button is pressed. That's why it is called a CFW.
So don't had that much more to say, excepted one thing:
Here is a database of DevMenu ARM11 code, for anyone that wish to make a legal CIA Manager w/o limitations right here (again I just did it pretty quickly so almost nothing is reversed/commented/renamed excepted main CIA functions.)
Also I did it in like 10mins so don't expect something really huge.

Lately, guys like st4rk, roxas75, etc... were being showoff by showing they had DevMenu installed their 3ds and claiming it at their own work.
As you surely already understood, IT IS NOT. They all lied to you just for getting known and having some temporary glory.
Same for the latest games decryption, someone gave to them the keyX.
They never really worked. All they had was always given by someone else, and they never had enough courage, or intelligence, for trying to think by themself for once.
As you should know, some guys were like "lol I'm laughing at this thread" but I want to say to them: "Do you know that you are at the same level than them? you were at their level, and maybe even less months before when you didn't had any work leaked on your hand."
This is what is really hate in this scene: full of stupid showoff that are absolutely doing nothing.
If you want my personal opinion, the only guys I really trust in this scene are yellows8 and neimod and, even if they are not in a good ethical position, they are the guys that made this scene go as where it is now.
Without them you would be nothing st4rk, roxas75, Relys, and all.
You were or just being showoff or releasing work as your own when it had only one 1% of real work. And this is why I hate guys like this. Lying all the time for having some glory.
As you already might understood, I don't care about glory or anything, and I just released this to move on. Because, sometimes, for go on, you have to destroy what's already there
Destruction then recreation, this is sometimes the only way to make somethings to move on.

вчера прошил но всё как-то криво, могу помочь если что не понятно
почитал, обсуждают только кастом, у меня гетевей, мне не особо нужно. а вот скай умеет работать на любой официальной прошивке, правда, судя по описанию, ограничение на 10 игр всего.
