IDStorage is special keys that are spacific to the psp in question.

there are several common keys amongst the psp's.

Key 5 is the one that has to be changed on ta-082+ to be able to install 1.5fw.

sometimes the downgraders or lack of using them properly cause the idstorage to get corrupted or wiped out.

If it is wiped out then we can only restore certain keys...but not all..

they affect everything from the wifi, the battery, power, umd, and much more.

so you might be able to get your psp running again but you will be missing some features. This is something that sony could fix but not us... as we do not know everything in the idstorage or how it's all put together.

My only question is where is the idstorage stored at? can it be accessed over flashX?

is it stored in a hidden partition on the nand?

The other models are too i guess, but ta-082 mobos are more suitable to the danger

Team M33 or anyone else,

Is there a way to go back to OFW beyond 3.30 After using ur M33 kxploitpatcher?
Because 1.5 Enabler doesn't not support unpatching of patched key 5 done by M33 kxploitpatcher.
Also the Pandora battery will not do anything to the patched key 5 and it will remain as M33 type of patch key 5.

Or is there a way around this, by extracting a key 5 of a different psp?

A reply would be highly appreciated.

i have install the 3.52M33-4, and i have tested to go from there with the Pandora system back to 1.5 everything worked fine, now i have restore my psp back to M33.

Why PSP i have a TA82 downgraded from 2.71, and after patched the key with the keycleaner 1.1

I know i did it myself to. But when i wen't back from 1.5 to 3.52 M33, i had to use the M33 permenant kxploitpatcher.

(When u upgraded from a diffrent CFW u didnt have to use that, and the Key-05 will be patched a diffrent way)

did you you go from, 3.52 M33 (4) to 1.5 back to official 3.52? And back to 1.5 > 3.52 M33

my histroy from 3.52M33-4- back to 1.5 with pandora, than use M33kxploidpatch.., than i reflash to 3.52M33, update to M33-4, after i redowngraded to 1.5 with pandora, and that i restrored my nand-flash with Pandora and my backup flash i made in the first time befor test somthink.
I have reflashed my nand-flash without the keys option so it was X
Now i'm finely on 3.52M33-4 and there are no bugs!!

I see knuckles84, But the problem is when you try to go from 1.5 to a official sony firmware beyond 3.30

The only thing was, they stated it was not possible anymore after using kxploitpatcher, but they are wrong.

after i tried it again to make a restore of the flash and now it work, but now the keycleaner don't reconize my PSP stade

The 1.5 M33 KExploit patcher makes 1.5 OFW be able to run kexploited homebrew. It does not change any keys. All keys should already be changed if you are running 1.5 OFW. The only point in changing keys is to be able to run the 1.5 OFW...

So why change keys again one inside of 1.5?

M33 does not have anything out to my knowledge that changes your IDStorage. They simply install CFW and maybe patch 1.5 to run kexploit..

hi knuckles84, I dont know why it bricked, weird though. Indeed the keycleaner don't recognize the state of ur psp, the Pandora battery had to patch key -05 to bring u back to 1.5. The keycleaner isnt updated yet (since pandora just came out) Thats why it says don't recognize ur psp state. But it should be fine though.

(although) i'm not sure about this, u can ask ur questions regarding keys to Chilly Willy (Maxconsole). He'll know the answer.

i give me the anser myself:
i had unpached my key t o run 3.52 after the kernel 1.5 won't work.
So i have restored my nand with with my M33 backup without the key, so my PSP had the key to run 3.52, but the M33 was installed.
And M33 start with 1.5kernel, because the key was not pached for that the PSP bricks.

About installing 3.30+ OFW after using CFW or 1.50.
